Sophoi is leading a team designing a ‘cutting-edge’ Results Sensemaking and Learning (RSL) system for the BuildingLife Initiative.

The purpose of the RSL system is to enable the BuildingLife initiative to learn how best to adapt to take smarter, more effective action in complex and dynamic contexts – enabling faster, more evidence-based decarbonization of the built environment. Sophoi’s approach to RSL represents an innovative evolution of more ‘traditional’ forms of MEL – RSL combines real-time and robust evidence with the collaborative and facilitated exchange of stakeholder experience and expertise in order to ‘sensemake’ for adaptive management and wider new knowledge.
